Voice of the North End
I recently stumbled onto the Winnipeg Libraries awesome page at http://wpl.winnipeg.ca/library/contact/voicesofthenorthend.asp. It is a mix of well known North Enders, business people and everyday residents.
It contains many sound files of interviews done by Russ Gourluck for his book The Mosaic Village: An Illustrated History of Winnipeg's North End.
If you get a chance, take a listen!
