Annual General Meeting - Saturday September 29
Our AGM is on September 29th, just over a week away, from 2 - 5 pm at Ralph Brown Community Centre.
The event will start off with Councillor Ross Eadie welcoming us all and then getting down to a quick meeting.
The meeting will be me giving an annual report, our Treasurer giving a financial report, our Secretary will be talking about the changes to the constitution and then elections. Our Secretary will then present some potential directions for the SJRA and ask for feedback.
Our wonderful Vice-Chair that has been with us for the past year is moving on from this position and we will also be presenting her with an appreciation certificate.
The meeting will be short and sweet and then we will have a Community Forum on Gangs. There will be presentations by the Winnipeg Police Service, a special guest and Ross Eadie. This forum will also include a question period.
After the forum our Garden Contest Winners will be announced!! This will be followed by the Norman Chief Memorial Dancers, a live band and food being served.
After the foods been served we will announce the door prize winners from the event and enjoy the food!
